Disposal
Hazardous waste that cannot be recovered is disposed of lawfully outside the biosphere in the underground waste disposal facility, on the basis of waste licences.
Recovery
The recovery of waste requires safe handling in line with occupational safety requirements as well as evidence of the geomechanical suitability. Backfilling our chambers with waste guarantees an environmentally friendly recovery.
